Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Minister of Tourism and Creative Industry Mari Elka Pangestu is seeking to improve the attractiveness of the creative industries in Indonesia so the country becomes increasingly attractive for investment development.
"This means that we have to create a business climate and sound business competition for the creative industries, where all players will obtain the same access to markets," the minister said here on Saturday.
She said that to achieve that goal, there were several paths that had to be taken, including expanding distribution networks, as well as channels for creative industrial products.
"We will collect the results of domestic market research to increase the number of consumers that could be served," she said.
She noted that appreciation of creative industrial products should also be improved to increase their market potentials. (*/DWA/T007)
