Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Survey institute Indo Barometer has predicted that the Jokowi-Ahok pair will defeat incumbent Fauzi Bowo, who pairs up with Nachrowi Ramli in this September's second round Jakarta gubernatorial elections.
"We make the prediction based on the results of a survey by daily Kompas which was published today," Indo Barometer Director M Qodari said here on Thursday.
The results of the survey indicate a slim victory for the Jokowi-Ahok pair over the rival Fauzi Bowo - Nachrowi Ramli (Foke-Nara) pair.
He said that the victory of Jokowi could be predicted on two parameters.
The Jokowi-Ahok pair has a higher electability figure of 45.13 percent than that of the Foke-Nara pair which has an electability figure of 37.53 percent.(IGT)
