Indonesia gains bronze in men`s 70-kg Sanda

Jakarta (Antaranews Bali) - Indonesia wushu athlete Puja Riyaya bagged a bronze medal in the men`s 70-kg sanda event in the Asian Games 2018 after losing to Zhanwei Shi of China in the semifinals at JIExpo in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday night.

Puja Riyaya who played aggressively managed to show his best game. But he must concede Zhanwei`s superiority in the two rounds which led to his defeat.

In the finals on Thursday, Zhanwei will take on Mohammadseifi of Iran who edged out Gwansik Ham of Korea in the semifinals. (WDY)
