Fujian Media to boost cultural ties between Indonesia-China

Fuzhou, China (Antaranews Bali) - Fujian Media Group will encourage news cooperation especially on cultural exchanges between Indonesia and China to strengthen people to people connection of the two countries. 
     
Fujian Media Group General Manager Zhuang Zhisong said here that his media has cooperations with several media around the world including Indonesia. 
     
During a short meeting with journalists from Bali who visited his office on Saturday (5/5), Zhuang said there were a lot of space to be done together especially of those media who had Chinese language news service.
     
Moreover most the Chinese descent who lived in Indonesia came from Fujian which made the importance of the cooperation.
     
His institution supported Chinese government program to develop a maritime silk road including with Indonesia, he added.
     
"Maritime silk road was not merely about trade, however, it brought a cultural exchanges," he added. 
     
Fujian Media Group is a state owned media which is located in a center city of Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province near the river bank. 
     
The group is a convergence of radio, television dan film studio production which was established in 2004 with over 4000 staff members.(*)
