Minahasa, N Sulawesi (Antara Bali) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to inaugurate a geothermal power plant in Lahendong, Minahasa District, North Sulawesi Province, during his working visit to the province.
Jokowi visited Kuwil Dam in North Minahasa on Tuesday morning and will proceed to Lahendong by land.
The president, accompanied by Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Ignatius Jonan and President Director of state oil and gas company Pertamina Dwi Soetjipto, is expected to officiate at the inauguration ceremony of the 5th and 6th units of the Lahendong geothermal power plant.
With the two additional units, the Lahendong geothermal power plant will have a total capacity of 120 MW. (WDY)
