"In terms of volume, the fruit exports dropped 46.29 pct, because 997.01 tons had already been shipped," head of the Bali industry and trade agency Gede Darmaja said here Wednesday.
He said that the fruits included mangis, salak and manga.
It is expected that the commodities would be increased in the next few months.
Darmaja also said that Bali gained foreign exchange revenue from nonoil/gas exports reaching 469.92 million US dollars in the January-November 2010 period, an increase of 1.6 pct compared to only 462.50 million US dollars in the same period a year earlier.
Although the increase was relatively small, there was optimism it would exceed the non-oil export target of 515.8 million dollars in 2010.
The smooth export of various Indonesian commodities to 83 different countries, may expand the market in 2011, Darmaja said.(*)
