Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Vice President Jusuf Kalla and his entourage left Halim Perdanakusuma airport on Friday for a one-day working visit to Batam, Riau Islands.

         According to an information from Vice Presidential Secretariat, Vice President Kalla was accompanied by Madame Mufidah Kalla to Batam, boarding Boeing 737-400 presidential aircraft.

         While in Batam, the vice president will oversee Kabil integrated economic zone and cell phone factory PT Sat Nusapersada, then to perform Friday prayers at Batam Grand Mosque.

         After that, the vice president and his entourage will attend the opening ceremony of ASEAN Summit and SPS XXIV Congress at Batam Center area.

         Kalla's entourage during the visit is made up of among others Communication and Informatics Minister Rudiantara, and Vice Presidential Secretary Mohammad Oemar.

         After completing a series of his agenda, the vice president and his entourage will make their way to Hang Nadim International Airport to return to Jakarta. (WDY)
