"The trainees will be departing for Japan in three batches," he revealed.
Sulang remarked that the first batch, which comprises thirteen trainees, will leave for Japan in mid-October, followed by seven trainees in the second batch in October-end, and the remaining fifteen trainees will leave in early December.
"The 35 trainees have signed a contract with the Tzukuba Cooperative Institution in Hibaraki," he noted.
In order to succeed in this internship program, the administration of Karangasem District will supervise the trainees during the internship.
"We hope that the trainees can complete their internship program and will return home with greater knowledge and experience," Sulang stated.
In the meantime, I. Wayan Geredeg, the head of Karangasem District, lauded the internship program held in Japan as he believed that it was a strategic opportunity for the Indonesian human resources, especially in the district, to compete at the global level.
"We have cooperated with Tzukuba Cooperative Institution. We encourage and facilitate the Japanese language course for the people, so that they will have a wide opportunity to have internship in the country," Geredeg added. (WDY)
