Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Muhaimin Iskandar is slated to open the Second conference of Association of Indonesian Hindu Workers Joys and Sorrows (ISDPI) at a star-rated hotel at Sanur Beach, Bali, on June 13, 2010.
"The even will be attended by more than 60 delegates from government institutions and private companies which established ISDPI in Bali," ISDPI chairman I Nyoman Sudjana said here on Monday.
He said besides Minister Muhaimin Iskandar, the event is also expected to be attended by Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika.
The one-day event will discuss various issues including the statutes of ISDPI, drawing up a working program and formation of the new management board for 2010-2012.
Nyoman Sudjana also said that the conference is also expected to issue a joint recommendation on the formation of ISDPI offices at each company and government institution in the region.
The social institution is seen as very important to contribute to the preservation and development of Bali's arts and culture, and to collect world funding for education and health of Balinese priests, ceremony leaders of Hindus.(*)
