According to Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 8.43 degrees of Southern Latitude and 116.04 degrees of Eastern Longitude or 14 km northeast of West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, at the depth of 10km.
