Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Jakarta's Regional Police (Polda Metro Jaya) revealed alleged human trafficking involving minors who were brought from Kalimantan to Jakarta.
"The two perpetrators brought the two victims from Kalimantan to Jakarta," Jakarta's Police Adj. Sr. Comr. Hando Wibowo said here on Tuesday on the phone.
Hando Wibowo said the perpetrators were arrested in Ciracas, East Jakarta last week, but he refused to give their names or initials.
The victims were released by police from their captivity place after two weeks in Jakarta.
According to him, the perpetrators had persuaded their victims by promising high-salary jobs in Jakarta. (*/DWA)
