Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders Week and related meetings to be held in Bali from October 1 to 8, 2013 will be a good opportunity to step up investment in Indonesia.
"The event will be a good opportunity to promote various business potentials and investment to the countries in the region to invest in Indonesia," Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin)'s Deputy Chairman for Energy, Oil and Gas Wisnu Wardhana said here on Thursday.
He said Indonesia would host the APEC Economic Leaders Week in Bali in October this year by involving the Ministry of Economy, APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), and more than one thousands business players from Asia-Pacific countries.
According to him, all state/government leaders and business players from APEC region were expected to attend that magnificent event.
"We have designed a special symposium for investment in Indonesia, particularly in the Micro, Small and Medium Business (UMKM) forum in the framework of APEC Leaders' Week in Bali," Wisnu noted. (*/DWA)
