UGM Wins Two International Robotic Competition

Yogyakarta (Antara Bali) - University of Gadjah Mada (UGM) robotic team had succeeded in two international robotic competitions in United States.

The competitions are Trinity College Fire Fighting Home Robot Contest and Robo Games 2013 Olympics.

"We proud in the students international achievements. Even they could beat their nine rivals country including participants from US and China," Pekik Purwantoro, chief of UGM robotic delegation said here.

The team consist of Malik Khidir, Agus Budiyanto and Bachtiar Permana.

They become the champion of Trinity College Fire Fighting Home Robot Contest in Hartford City, Connecticut, April 6-7 while in Robo Games 2013 Olympics of Robots in San Mateo, California April 19-21 they got two golds and one silver. (IGT)
