Padang (Antara Bali) - State-owned oil/gas firm Pertamina has denied the scarcity of diesel fuel stock in West Sumatra's gas stations or SPBU.

"The diesel fuel stock currently stored in Teluk Kabung fuel terminal is enough for a week ahead," Sales Representative of Pertamina Marketing (FRM) division, Ziko Wahyudi said here, adding that the stock is around 34 thousand kilo liter of diesel fuel.

Ziko made the statement in a coordination meeting led by Syafrial, Governor's assistant covering the provincial development and economic affairs.

Pertamina has distributed a total of 373,990 KL for the province, he said. "Diesel fuel quota for February 2013 has exceeded nine percent of the quota," thus Pertamina provides non-subsidized fuel engine.

He also hoped the government to immediately provide funds for vehicles that use non-subsidized fuel. (*/DWA/IGT)
