Bandarlampung (Antara Bali) - An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale rocked Seluma in Bengkulu province on Thursday, according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

The epicenter of the quake which struck at 11.10 a.m. western Indonesian time was located 53 km southeast of Seluma at a depth of 32 km, the head of  the Kotabumi geophysics station in Lampung province, Yuharman, said.

There was no immediate report of casualties or material damage. (*/DWA/T007)
