Floodwater inundated houses in Citra Handayani Bukit Sangkat and Citra Handayani Adil housing complexes and a number of roads in the city, an Antara journalist observed.
The floodwater forced residents of Citra Handayani Adil housing complex to remove their valuable items to higher ground.
Local resident Edy said the housing complex is highly susceptible to flood because it is located in a low laying area.
Additionally, water catchment around the housing complex had disappeared because many houses are built there, he said.(IGT)
