London (Antara Bali) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono left London for the Lao capital of Vientiane on Saturday morning, ending his three-day state visit in Britain at the invitation of Queen Elizabeth II.
The President and First Lady Ani Yudhoyono aboard a presidential plane left Heathrow International Airport in London at 11.10 a.m. local time, spokesperson of the Indonesian embassy in London, Heni Hamida said.
They were seen off by Indonesian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Lastry Thayeb and the defence attache at the Indonesian Embassy in London, she said.
While in Britain, the President held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister David Cameron and attended a meeting of the High Level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015 Development Agenda.
The Indonesian leader also met with Chief of the Liberal Democrat Party Nick Clegg and opposition leader Ed Miliband.
He also delivered his addresses to a number of forums including All-Party Parliamentary Group on Indonesia, and Royal College for Defence Studies.
While in London, the President and First Lady Ani Yudhoyono who arrived on Wednesday stayed at the Buckingham Palace.
On Friday, the President left the palace. He was seen off by Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh after his stay at the Palace since Wednesday.(*/M038/T007)
