Bandarlampung (Antara Bali) - A 5.6-magnitude undersea earthquake shook West Papua province on Tuesday, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said.
The epicenter of the quake which struck at 05.26 West Indonesian Time was located 85 km southeast of the provincial capital Manokwari at a depth of 12 km, Head of the Kotabumi Geophysics Station in Lampung Province Chrismanto said.
The agency said the temblor had no potential to trigger a tsunami.(*/M038/T007)
