The four political party factions from Gerindra, Democrats, PKS and PAN walked out ahead of the vote to choose between Package A or B concerning among others presidential threshold.
The meeting led by House Speaker Setya Novanto finally voted for Package A offering presidential threshold of 20-25 percent, parliamentary threshold of four percent, open election system, seat allocation of three to ten and simple quota vote conversion method.
The decision was made by acclamation by party factions supporting the package including the Indonesia Democratic Party Struggle (PDIP), Golkar Party, Nasdem (National Democrat Party), the United Development Party (PPP) and the Peoples Conscience Party (Hanura) and the National Awakening Party (PKB).
The meeting was atteded by Home Affairs Minister Tjahjo Kumolo and Justice and Human Rights Minister Yasona Laoly representing the government. (*)
