Jakarta (Antara Bali)- Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, in a
letter to President Joko Widodo, extended deep condolences to the
President and the Indonesian people following loss of innocent lives and
other damage in terror attack on Thursday.
"The King condemns the terror attacks that hit Jakarta on Thursday. The King also affirms that Jordan stands in solidarity with Indonesia to fight such terror attacks," Jordanian Ambassador to Indonesia Walid Abdel Rahman Al Hadid said in a statement here on Saturday.
King Abdullah also prayed to Allah SWT to protect Indonesia and her people from all forms of crimes.
The attack in the heart of Jakarta killed seven people and injured 24 others, including five police officers, a German, a Dutch, an Algerian and an Austrian.
The dead included a Canadian and five attackers. (WDY)
