Sidoarjo, E Java (Antara Bali) - The soccer team of "Nurul Islam" of Jember Islamic Boarding School turned up as champion in the Islamic Students Archipelago league (LSN) of under 17 years old (U-17) after defeating the squad of Al Asyariah, Tangerang.
The Nurul Islam Jember team won the match through a penalty shootout in the final game with a score of 9-8 at the Delta Sidoarjo sport stadium on Sunday.
In the first half, a player of Jember Islamic Boarding School Alvino scored a goal in the 33rd minute.
Then, in minute 43, Muhammad Alfian Idris of Banten equalized to 1-1.
However, in 48th minute, Jember's player Richard Rahmat scored another goal following a chaos in front of the goal which changed the score to 2-1.
Then, in 6th minute, Afrizal Dwi successfully equalize the score to 2-2 until the time is over.
After an extension of two times 7.5 minutes, the score remained 2-2.
The champion of this match received a medal and cash prize of Rp100 million.(WDY)
