Madrid (Antara Bali) - Indonesian Defense Minister General Ryamizard Ryacudu is on a working visit to Spain to attend HOMSEC 2015, the 5th International Exhibition of Security and Defense Technologies, being organized here on March 10-12.
Opened by Spanish Home Minister Jorge Fernández DÃaz, the HOMSEC 2015 is being attended by Ryacudu and Indonesian Ambassador to Spain Yuli Mumpuni Widarso along with several industry players, ministers, and high-level officials in the field of defense and security from numerous countries.
HOMSEC, Spain's leading event in Security and Defense technologies, is a biannual strategic meeting point for new developments and markets, both in Spain, Latin America, and North Africa.
With the support of all main official institutions and associations, HOMSEC represents a unique opportunity to touch base with key suppliers, clients, R&D centers, institutions, key speakers, and media.
The meeting aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Spain in the field of defense. Ryacudu will also oversee Airbus Defense and Space Installation, which produces aircraft such as Eurofighter, Airbus A400M, and Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) A330 in Getafe.
Indonesian Ambassador Yuli Mumpuni Widarso remarked that Ryacudu's visit to Spain this time is an important and strategic step in enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of defense. (WDY)
