Jakarta (Antara Bali) - PT PGN Tbk is ready to expand the provision of infrastructure Fuel Gas Filling Station or SPBGs to support government programs to convert to CNG transportation fuel.
Irwan PGN spokesman Andrew Atmanto here on Sunday said he is optimistic CNG conversion will evolve following the fuel price increase on November 18, 2014.
"The rise in fuel prices will make consumers glance at BBG," he said.
According to him, this time, the price of CNG only Rp3.100 per Liter Equals pPemium (LSP).
Meanwhile, subsidized fuel price premium already Rp8,500 per liter and diesel Rp7,500 per liter.
"With the price difference compared BBG far enough let alone non-subsidized fuel subsidy, of course BBG into alternative energy for the community," he said.
Irwan added, PGN did two ways to reproduce SPBGs.
First, to build their own good SPBGs pipeline scheme (online) and mobile systems (mobile refueling units / MRU).
Currently, PGN has seven SPBGs consisting of three "online" in Ketapang, Bekasi and Bogor and four MRU in Monas, Pluit Reservoir, Cawang, and Cengkareng.
Following, he added, SPBGs in Surabaya, which is ready to operate and Cilegon is expected in December 2014.
"We also supply gas to SPBGs partners in Jakarta," said Irwan.
Furthermore, according to him, it plans to expand its facilities in a number of areas such SPBGs Jakarta, Bogor, Jakarta, Surabaya, Cilegon, and Batam.
"The second way is to build a gas station reproduce SPBGs integrated with the pump," he said.
PGN, he added, is ready to partner with the owners of gas stations, which are located adjacent to the gas distribution pipeline PGN.
"Currently, there are 73 stations in Jakarta, which are located adjacent to the pipe PGN. Later it will be installed at the pump CNG dispenser so that the consumer can fill it in there," he said.
Earlier, Vice President Jusuf Kalla said, in 2015, the government will build a lot of gas infrastructure such as pipelines and SPBGs to support the development of CNG transport.
Meanwhile, SOE Minister Rini M Soemarno ask PGN cooperating with gas stations to accelerate the addition SPBGs.
"We are ready to support the CNG conversion program and welcomed the request, Minister of SOEs," said Irwan. (MFD)
