congratulated the newly elected Indonesian President Joko Widodo shortly
after being announced the winner in the candidacy race.
"Congratulations to @jokowI_do2 who won the Indonesian presidential election. I wish that we can enhance our bilateral relationship, and I cannot wait to meet you," Prime Minister Razak remarked using his twitter account as quoted by the Bernama News Agency on Wednesday.
The General Elections Commission in Jakarta has declared the running presidential candidate pair, Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla, as the elected president and vice president for the 2014-2019 term.
According to the commission, the winning candidates for the posts of Indonesian president and vice president in the 2014 election are Joko Widodo and Muhammad Jusuf Kalla who have received 70,997,833 votes or 53.15 percent of the total valid votes.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was the first to congratulate the newly elected president and vice president, Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla.(WDY)
