Delft (Antara Bali) - The Indonesian Student Association (PPI) Delft, the Netherlands, has established an intellectual forum as a medium to share and disseminate knowledge and technology to Indonesian students and the public, it was learned here Monday.

"The name of this forum is Kopi Delft. Kopi stands for Kolokium Pelajar Indonesia or the Indonesian Student Colloquium in Delft," chairman of the Scientific Division of PPI Delft Yazdi Jenie said.

He explained this intellectual forum offers an opportunity for Indonesian students to discuss and formulate solutions to the problems faced by Indonesians from a scientific standpoint.

Most of Indonesian students studying in the Netherlands are delegates from institutions where they work. Among them are lecturers and researchers from the BPPT (Indonesians Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology), State-owned Electricity Company (PLN), the Ministry of Public Works, State-owned Oil Company (Pertamina) and several other companies.
