Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Jakarta Wedding Expo has offered different theme for the 2013 event which titled "Modern Elegant Traditional Wedding" during March 1 to 3 at Bidakara Hall in Jakarta.
"All wedding ceremony or party at these time was modern themed. We reduce more and more traditional stuff in the wedding event, that is why we offer 'modern elegant traditional wedding' on this expo," said Chief of Wedding Exhibition Organizer Arif Rachman here on Friday.
Rachman added the chosen of "Modern Elegant Traditional Wedding" was one of efforts to safe the traditional wedding in Indonesia.
"Indonesia has thousands of local ethnics with different traditional wedding customs. Thus it would be too sad if people nowadays is reluctant to hold their event with this traditional values for complicated and impractical reasons," he said.
Therefore, through this theme, Rachman said the wedding expo was arranged to show the simple and elegant traditional wedding in a modern way without leave the custom values, he explained. (IGT)
