Padang (Antara Bali) - Three people were killed in a highway accident at Jorong Sungai Betung, Kota Baru, in West Sumatra last night.
The three dead victims were passengers of a bus that tumbled into a four-meter deep valley when trying to avoid collision with a motorcycles.
Seven other seriously injured passengers are still treated at the M. Djamila hospital in this West Sumatra capital.
There were 21 injured passengers but most of them have been allowed to leave after receiving treatment, hospital spokesman Gustafianov said here today.
The three dead victims Zulfiandri (28) from Cupak, Debi Afrinaldi (21) from Ketaping Aua Parau, and Wak Ano (50) from Taratak Kampung Jua, died not long after being brought to the hospital.(IGT)
