Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Three Chinese professors from  GuangXi Art Institute have visited the Indonesian Arts Institute (ISI) of Denpasar, to study possible teaching cooperation between the two arts institutes.

The three professors including  President of  Guangxi Art Institute China  Prof Chen Kun Peng,  Prof Yang Xiu Zhao  and  Prof Chu Zhuo met with ISI rector Prof Dr I Wayan Rai. S.MA.

ISI spokesman Nyoman Dewi Pebriyani said on Sunday the visit earlier this week  was the second  by leaders of the GuangXi Art Institute  after one late 2010.

Prof. Chen told  his counterpart Prof Wayan Rai  that the Chinese and Balinese cultures have much in common.

"There are strong ties between the Chinese and Balinese arts citing a Chinese folk dance, which is well preserved in Bali," Nyoman quoted the Chinese professor as saying.(IGT/T007)
