Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Ministry of Environment has its own trash bank to overcome trash collection problems, Environment Minister Balthasar Kambuaya said after dedicating it here on Wednesday.
Balthasar said the trash bank would manage waste from the environment ministry office and the surrounding communities in a bid to overcome the trash problem.
The minister noted that the trash bank was a social engineering project designed to manage waste, because the presence of collection points was important for trash management training.
"If we simply explain the function of trash bank without trash management training, people will not know the importance of it," Balthasar said.
According to the environment minister, the effort to reduce the problem of waste requires managing waste at trash banks.(IGT)
