Denpasar (Antara Bali) - A court a Bali will start the trial of an Australian boy being detained for drug possession next Tuesday (November 1) at 9 AM local time, the boy's attorney M Rifan said here on Monday.
LM was caught on October 4, 2011 on Jalan Padma, Legian, Kuta, Bali, carrying 6.9 grams of marijuana in his pockets.
The attorney M Rifan said he would not submit a demurrer at Tuesday's trial. "After studying the indictment against LM written by the prosecutor, we decided not to submit a demurrer. The indictment is clear and in accordance with our version of what had happened," he said.
Rifan said the court would call witnesses of the case after the prosecutor read the indictment on the Tuesday's trial.(**)
