Makassar (Antara Bali) - South Sulawesi province will host an informal eco-tourism forum that will bring together 100 participants from nine countries on October 5, 2011.
The forum would be a meeting of travel agents including those from the United States, China and a number of European countries, Head of the South Sulawesi Provincial Culture and Tourism Office Syuaib Mallombassi said here on Thursday.
Representatives of the travel agents would come to Indonesia to see for themselves natural tourist sites that could be included in tour packages, he said.
South Sulawesi would benefit from the forum as it could then introduce its natural tourist sites in Maros, Sinjai and Soppeng districts to the participants, he said.
During their four-day stay in South Sulawesi, the participants would travel to the three districts, he said.(**)
