Tabanan (Antara Bali)- Indonesian boxer Larry Siwu won a WBO Asia Pacific welterweight title after beating Thai boxer Eakkhumpol Morkrungthepthonburi in the fifth round of the 12-round competition, here, Saturday evening.
Larry Siwu was quite aggressive during the fight and unleashed a number of hooks to his rival.
In the fifth round, a strong hook from Siwu sent Eakkhumpol to the canvas and the jury declared a knockout (KO).
The competition for the WBO Asia Pacific welterweight title was participated in by 16 boxers. (WDY)
