Jakarta (Antara Bali)- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to attend a groundbreaking ceremony of a steam power plant (PLTU) construction project in Lontar village, Kemiri, Tangerang District, Banten Province, on Friday.
The head of state will also inaugurate a power supply substation and transmission for Jakarta and Banten in the same location, according to information from the presidential palace's press bureau.
The 1x315 MW-Expanded Lontar steam power plant will be built on an area measuring 11 hectares, situated near the location of PLTU Lontar 3.
The project is expected to be completed in 42 months.
From Banten, President Jokowi will proceed to Bali and Nusa Tenggara for a working visit until June 11. (WDY)
