Denpasar, Bali (Antara Bali) - A total of 2,500 joint security personnel
from Udayana Military Command and Bali Police will be deployed to
ensure security during President Joko Widodo`s three-day working visit
to Bali from August 28 to 30, 2015, according to police.
"Security for RI 1 is a fixed procedure. For command control, it is
in the hand of Udayana military commander as head of operation,"
said Deputy Chief of Bali Police, Brigadier General Nyoman Suryasta after the show of force at Renon Square here on Thursday.
Suryasta noted that of all 2,500 security personnel, 1,500 came
from Udayana Military Command and the rest is from Bali Police and
public elements.
President Joko Widodo is scheduled to arrive in Bali on Friday for a
three-day working visit until Sunday to open President`s Cup matches at
Kapten I Wayan Dipta stadium in Gianyar district. (WDY)
