Four Japanese Tourists Leave Sanglah Hospital

Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Four Japanese tourists who went missing in the waters off the Nusa Lembongan Island, Klungkung Regency on Friday (Feb, 14) left Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar, an official said here in a press conference on Thursday.
    
"They were on stable and in a good health after our medical team examined their last condition," Medical Service Director of Sanglah Hospital, Anak Agung Ngurah Jayakusuma told the reporters.
    
He stated those tourists now only remain painful on their skin due to the heat of the sun after almost three days lost at sea.
    
"They suffered sunburn in a grade one and several injuries on their body because of scratching with the coral," he added.
    
Those four tourists are Yamamoto Emi (33), Tomita Nahomi (29), Morizono Aya (27), Yoshidome Atshumi (29) for the first time speaking to the media.
    
In front of the reporters and tv cameras, they took a bow and said grateful to the Denpasar Search and Rescue Team, government, people of Nusa Lembongan and Bali and also other relevant authorities.
    
"We thank to government institutions, SAR team, hospital, and the people of Nusa Lembongan for rescueing us alive," said one of the tourists, Yamamoto Emi.
    
They also conveyed appologized for making worried both to the people of Indonesia and Japanese people.
    
Having had spoken to the medias at about two minutes, those tourists then left the hospital and went to a hotel to stay for several hours before going back home to Japan on Thursday night.
    
The other victims, Furukawa Saori (38) who treated at Kasih Ibu Hospital in Badung Regency also left the hospital and get back to her home in Denpasar.
    
Rescue team previously found body of Ritsako Miyata (59) at the Serangan Beach in Denpasar on Tuesday (Feb, 18). Meanwhile the Denpasar SAR Team is still searching for Takashi Shoko (36) who still went missing.
    
Director of Information and Culture from the Embassy of Japan, Takeyama, also stated their thank to the Bali and Indonesian Government and especially to the people of Nusa Lembongan and Denpasar's SAR team.
    
"We thankful to the SAR team, police officers, TNI (Indonesian National Army), and we do not forget the people of Nusa Lembongan, governement and other institutions who have saved our people," he said. (DWA)
