Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Indonesia's first lithium battery factory has started operation in Cileungsi, West Java.
The factory owned by PT Nipress Tbk, was to be officially commissioned on Saturday by Minister for State Enterprises Dahlan Iskan.
The lithium battery factory will support the national program to develop electric car industry in the country. The country is in the process of producing electric cars under its program to develop environmentally friendly means of transport. (*/M038)
