Jakarta (Antara Bali) - PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) launched New Toyota Avanza and New Toyota Avanza Veloz cars on Wednesday to meet customers' need for new cars in the MPV car segment, its president director Johnny Darmawan said.
"The enthusiasm of customers encourages us to continue making improvement by producing New Toyota Avanza and New Toyota Avanza Veloz," he said when launching the new products in a function called "Living Legend Celebration" on Wednesday.
He said that the production of the new cars was focused on safety and convenience in driving. "This is intended to maintain our customers' total best ownership experience and to give peace of mind and joy of driving for users of Toyota Avanza," he said.
He said that safety features cover all New Toyota and New Toyota Avanza Veloz grades, among others, dual airbags, front seat belt pretensioner/force limiter (PT/FL), driver seatbelt warning, sliding brake pedal and knee bolster for drivers.
Apart from seat & stream with thicker back cushion features in all grades, the new products are also equipped with head rest in the second raw with a saddle and noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) types. (*/DWA)
