22 Provinces to Participate in Wushu Championship

Pekanbaru (Antara Bali) - A total of 22 provinces will field their athletes in the Senior Wushu National Championship 2013 which will take place in Rumbai sub-district, Riau province on May 27 to 30, 2013.

"We receive confirmation that 22 provinces will send their athletes to the Senior National Championship 2013," deputy general chairman of Riau provincial Wushu executive board, Darmawan said here on Monday. 

        According to him, the participating athletes are among other things from provinces of Jakarta, West Java, East Java, North Sumatra, West Sumatra and South Sulawesi.

"Our main target is to let the athletes gain more experience through the championship and find potential athletes," Darmawan noted. (*/M038/DWA)
