Udayana University Opens New Social And Politics Programme

Denpasar (Antara Bali) - The Faculty of Sociology and Politics Udayana University in not a long time will open two new study programmes, namely Communication Science and Political Science, so in total they will have five study programme.
    
"Our Social and Politics Faculty is one of 13 faculty in the university. In time being, we only have three study programme and soon we will add two more. The existing study programme are International Relation, State Administration, and Sociology," as the Rector of Udayana University, Prof Dr I Gede Bakta, stated to ANTARA News Agency Bali Bureau Chief, Tunggul Susilo, just recently, in Jimbaran Campus, Bali.
    
After the university has five study programme in Faculty of Sociology and Politics, Bakta said, they will open other new studi programme, Library Science, in 2011. Susilo have an audience with Bakta as a part of cooperation with ANTARA News Agency concerning the new study programme in that faculty.
   
The text of memorandum of understanding between two parties, was signed by Bakta and the CEO of ANTARA News Agency, Dr Ahmad Mukhlis Yusuf. One point the MoU stated is that student in the Faculty of Sociology and Politics of the university, particularly Communication Study Programme, may have apprenticement in ANTARA News Agency Bali Bureau for a certain time.
   
"Based on our agreement, we hope there will be possible for us to develop in the future time depends on our needs and chances," Bakta  said.
