Batam (Antara Bali) - For young Indonesian animators to become more successful, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has asked them to remain creative.
"We are all proud of the young animators. Good luck and continue to be creative," President Yudhoyono said during his visit to Infinite animation studio at Nongsa area in Batam Island on Saturday.
In the company of First Lady Ani Yudhoyono and several ministers, the head of state visited the animation facility and the film production complex.
During his visit, the president also asked the young animators to organize art events or annual music festivals to promote Batam. "This is one single festival, but we can make it every year if possible," the president said.
The Infinite Studio is an animation studio where several serial animation films are produced. It is Southeast Asia's largest film studio, with an area of 10 hectares in Nongsa, Batam, to support the film industry.(*/M038/IGT)
