Bandung (Antara Bali) - Suspected bird flu (H5N1) patient, known by initial as Mr. A (42), died at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung, West Java, on Saturday night, hospital spokesman dr Primal Sudjana said here on Sunday.
Primal said Mr. A was admitted to the hospital and treated in Flamboyant special isolation room on Thursday but he died two days after that.
"The suspected bird flu patient died at 10 on Monday night for complication of respiratory problem, kidney and lever failures," Primal noted.
He said Mr. A was the second suspected bird flu patient who had died at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in less than a month after another one, known by his initial as Mr. SA, died at the same hospital on February 7, 2012.(IGT)
