Bogor (Antara Bali) - The search and rescue team (SAR) has recovered the bodies of the last two victims of a bamboo bridge collapse tragedy in Bogor recently.
"Today, the SAR team recovered bodies of two women near Tangerang who were believed to be missing after the accident, and we have been searching for them," head of the logistics and operations control of the Bogor district chapter of the Disaster Mitigation Agency, Budi Aksomo, said here on Wednesday.
The bodies were still being evacuated and would later be taken to Bogor. Tangerang is about 60 kilometers from the location of the incident.
With the recovery of the two bodies, all victims of the Cidua bamboo bridge collapse in Pabuaran Kaum, Cibanteng village in Ciampea subdistrict last Sunday had been accounted for.
A total of 504 SAR team members were involved in the search operation along the river and its banks.(IGT)
