Pematangsiantar (Antara Bali) - Seven people --six students and one driver-- were killed when their bus plunged into a ravine in the Pondok Bulu area, Simalungun, North Sumatra, on Thursday evening.
The bodies of the seven victims were taken to Pematangsiantar Regional Hospital for autopsy before they were sent to their respective mourning houses.
Sources said that the number of injured victims was not yet known but they were being receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
The ill-fated bus was transporting some 40 students from several higher secondary schools in Pematangsiantor when it plunged into the ravine.
The dead victims were Nabila, Ananda Annisa Roja, Juraida Lubis, Gusti Ayu, Masnaria br Panggabean, Okri (they were all students), Humisar Panggabean. (*/DWA/IGT)
