Gianyar (Antaranews Bali) - The Bali United soccer team defeated the South Sulawesi Provincial team of PSM Makassar 2-0 in League 1 soccer competition 2018 season at Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar District on Wednesday night.
Since the first minute, footballers of both teams continued to attack each other, and in the 5th minute, Balinese player Ilija Spasojevic scored a goal, thanks to the passing from Stefano Lilipaly.
The PSM team also tried to build an attack on the host area of Bali United, but the attack failed to make a goal.
The tactics used by the PSM Makassar players even almost broke the Bali goalkeeper in the 35th minute, but all the attacks can be controlled by Bali United. Until the first round was finished the position of Bali United versus PSM Makassar remained at 1-0.
In the second half, PSM Makassar footballers tried to change the game by strengthening the attack of its front players through elaboration of right and left wing players.
In a counterattack Bali United, through Stefano Lilipaly in the 87th minute, was able to break into the goal of PSM Makassar.
Meanwhile, PSM Makassar chief coach, Robert Rene Alberts admitted the Bali United`s success in the game.(WDY)
