Bali's exports of fish and shrimps up 34.44 percent

Denpasar (Antaranews Bali) - Bali's exports of fish and shrimps shot up 34.44 percent to US$15.05 million in March from US$11.174 million in the previous month this year.

"Year-on-year the fish and shrimp export value was US$5.23 million larger  or up 53.21 percent  from only US$9.82 million in the same month last year," head of the Bali Central Bureau of Statistics Adi Nugroho said here on Tuesday.

Adi said the exports of fish ans shrimps contributed 25.51 percent to the total export value of the province that reached US$59.04 million in March 2018. The total export value rose 30.45 percent from US$45.26 million in the previous month  and 13.71percent  from US$51.92 million a year earlier.

The commodities are exported mainly to China , the United States, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and European countries. (WDY)
