The president and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma airport at 9 am West Indonesia Standard Time (WIB).
Besides First Lady Iriana, seen accompanying the present were among others Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, and Presidential Communication Team Sukardi Rinakit.
During the visit, President Jokowi is scheduled to inaugurate the operation of Krian-Mojokerto section of Surabaya-Mojokerto toll road, and the utilization of Nipah reservoir at the village of Montor in Sampang district.
On Saturday evening the president will attend the wedding party of the daughter of East Java Governor Soekarwo the Surabaya Grand City Convention Hall. (WDY)
