"The inaugural schedule is in accordance with the program of Garuda Indonesia's management, and the flights on the Biak-Nabire route will begin in June 2016," Angkasa remarked here on Thursday.
According to Angkasa, Garuda will operate ATR aircraft to serve the Biak-Nabire route to meet the demands of the local community.
He expressed hope that following the opening of the new route, Garuda would facilitate to meet the aviation services needs of the eastern Indonesian community.
