Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Minister for the Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya said the Indonesian delegation remains ready to take part in the climate change meeting in Paris to be held from Nov. 30 to Dec. 11 this year.
"We are still firm to take part in the Conference of Parties (CPO)," Siti Nurbaya said here on Monday.
A number of countries have warned their citizen from going to Paris after the terrorist attacks that left at least 129 people dead there last weekend.
"Consolidation continues," the minister said, adding as for Indonesian foreign policy position would be discussed with Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi
President Joko Widodo had joined the world in condemnation of the terrorist attacks and indicated that Indonesia remained committed to attending the climate change conference in Paris.
Siti Nurabaya said she would talk with the foreign minister upon arrival of Retno from Turkey," Siti Nurbaya said.
The foreign minister is in Turkey accompanying the president on a visit there. (WDY)
