Chief of the Culture Service of East Javas Tourism Office Jarianto said here on Friday Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, China, Russia and Vietnam were among the 12 countries that will participate in the event.
"This years fair will be the fifteenth of its kind held by the East Java province at the Grand City Convex to promote its tourism potential," he said.
Jarianto explained that the event will offer tourism packages, hotels, airlines and small business products.
There will also be travel exchange activity at Hotel Bumi, Surabaya. "The travel exchange activity in 2013 succeeded in concluding transactions worth Rp38 billion. This year its target is Rp40 billion," he added. (WDY)
