The riot was triggered by a controversial decision of the referee against the host pugilist, in the Nabire Regent 2013 Boxing championship, witnesses said.
The bodies of the dead victims, which were dominated by women making up 13 with men making up 5 have been evacuated to the Nabire hospital for medical report. (*/M038)
